About French Car Network

French Car Network is a social networking website for French car owners and French car owners clubs. Founded in February 2009 by John Blackmore and Lee Phipps the French Car Network was started with the aim to bring together the French car community in the UK in a way that has not previously been tried.

French Car Network for Clubs

The aim of French Car Network is to bring together the large number of French car owners clubs in a way that is beneficial for both the clubs and thier members. By working together as part of the French Car Network, owners clubs will be able to benefit from improved communications to allow tasks such as organising groups events much easier. French Car Network for Members

There are benefits for French car owners too. Being part of the French Car Network will open up a whole community for socialising and networking in a way that is not currently possible. Find members who share similar interests, exchange tips and tricks, organise events and meets in your local area. These are all things that French Car Network has been created for.

No Forum? Yes, there's a forum!

Originally we started off without a forum, we felt there just wasn't a need for it. n June 2010 we introduced a forum area so that FCN members can share their trials and tribulations of French car ownership.

Please note however that French Car Network is not a substitute for joining other car owners clubs, in fact it is quite the opposite. French Car Network encourages members to join the owners clubs that participate in French Car Network. We understand that specialist information is best gained from specialist sources such as owners forums.

We Still Have Free Membership

The aim of French Car Network is to bring french car owners together, so a membership fee would only get in the way. Recently our operating costs have increased substantially, which is one of the reasons we have introduced the forum. So we can continue to run FCN we will continue to show relevant ads on some pages, as well as sponsorship from selected companies. We also accept donations from our members to help towards hosting costs, and now have an online shop where you can purchase French Car Network merchandise.

Experienced with Clubs

At French Car Network we know what we are doing, at least we hope so. Having first started a website about his own car in 2001 John has since developed a number of car-related websites. In 2006 John launched Club-306 based on a free membership model that quickly grew to over 3500 members. Lee has also had experience running car-related sites, and is an administrator for Club-306.
